Wir haben ja schon seit langem vermutet, dass man mit reiner Gasphase nicht kühlen kann. Jetzt erbringen wir den experimentellen Beweis dafür.
Expandierendes Gas kühlt zwar auch, aber nicht so tief runter und vor allem sind beträchtliche Temperaturdifferenzen zwischen den einzelnen
Modulen zu beobachten. Das erste Origami bekommt etwa -13°C aber bis zum letzten Micron sind wir auf Raumtemperatur.
